Chai and Crumbs started with a simple idea: bring the chai we grew up with to the heart of Birmingham.
Founded in 2019 at Waterfront Walk, we set out to create a space where South Asian flavours meet the energy of the city centre. Every cup of chai is brewed from a family recipe — cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves — no shortcuts, no powder, just whole spices.
We’re proudly halal — not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.

Chai and Crumbs is run by a small but passionate team. We’re baristas, cooks, and chai lovers — and we know most of our regulars by name.
We’re not a chain. There’s no head office, no script, no corporate playbook. Just real people who care about making your morning better — whether that’s a perfect flat white or a masala chai that tastes like your mum made it.

Full-time and part-time positions available. Experience preferred but not essential — we train from scratch if you bring the right attitude.
